Which is Better SEOPressor or Yoast SEO?

Which is Better SEOPressor or Yoast SEO

So I started this company on WordPress, which is not my first choice for building websites. But I have grown to understand and respect this platform much more than I have in the past.

One of the most significant issues I found was SEO. You have to have a plugin to get any SEO benefits. Since I am an SEO specialist, not having this tool integrated into a website-building platform is a disservice to the customer.

When I went to look for an SEO plugin, the one everyone says to use is Yoast. Of course, that is what I installed. And it isn’t bad.

I haven’t had any actual issues with Yoast, but I wanted to start comparing other SEO tools for WordPress that were available. That is when I happened across SEOPressor, and I am impressed.

SEOPressor Benefits

SEOPressor provides you with an overall score and the health of your site as a whole. It scans it constantly and includes up-to-date information on how your site is performing. It tells you what pages need optimization still, what their score is in one place, and

Honestly, automatic links were one of the surprises I found when I signed up for SEOPressor. Allowing me to add the links automatically is a great feature when I post specific keywords on my site. This aspect alone will save a ton of time and ensure I don’t forget to include a link where it is needed.

Finally, SEOPressor allows for use on multiple sites but only makes you pay once. That means for one fee paid monthly; you can load this on one site or a thousand sites. Who doesn’t love a deal like that?

Yoast SEO Benefits

The setup was quick and painless. There is a lot of customization available, even with the free version (to be honest, I haven’t paid for it so far).

I like how it uses red, yellow, and green lights to show if you are doing something correctly or not.

Their knowledge base is massive – you couldn’t possibly read everything they have written. They even have an academy for people learning how to do this from scratch, both free and a paid version.

One of my favorite things about Yoast is if it provides you with a suggestion, it links out to an article that will explain why that suggestion is relevant and how it helps. Yoast is great for beginners and people trying to understand precisely every aspect of the analysis means.

Cost Comparison

Both setups are pretty comparable. For someone starting with little capital, SEOPressor and their monthly subscription model is much easier to pay for than Yoast SEO's yearly subscription fee. Either way, the overall cost is very similar with both models.

Yoast SEO Costs

Yoast SEO costs $89 per year for one site, and there are discounts for multiple sites for their premium version. The deals are lovely, especially for agencies such as we are.

Their free version is excellent, too, and offers a ton of benefits. They have an excellent overview of the differences between their free and paid versions you can check out.

Most people can probably get away with the free version for their personal use or just start.

The cost of the advanced academy is another $89 a year, which is excellent for someone who doesn’t have experience with advanced SEO. You can’t get a course that cheap, hardly anywhere online, and college is way more expensive.

They even have more plugins for video, local, news and WooCommerce; yet, each of these is an extra cost of $69 per year, again with discounts for multiple sites.

SEOPressor Costs

SEOPressor is similar in cost at $9 per month and no free version, and this is for not only your domain but also multiple domains. Meaning you buy it once and can use it across multiple sites with your agency. SEOPressor is a cheaper option for people dealing with many websites, and only paying for one license helps to keep costs low.

There is no academy with SEOPressor, but they do have plenty of free resources.

Usability Comparison

Both Yoast and SEOPressor are very easy to use. They both provide a place to enter in the information needed for each page, tell you which pages are missing data, and have a character count and other information displayed as you are going along building out the SEO.

Both tools also offer Schema markup, and Facebook and Twitter set up so you can make sure your information is shared out and looking the way you want.

One thing I do like better with Yoast is the Google preview. You can see what someone searching for your site will see on Google’s SERP, both in mobile and desktop results.

Yoast provides auto-publishing of posts out to your social sites and many other destinations. This feature is great for many users looking to make sure their content shows up immediately.

In conclusion, I would have to say there isn’t one over the other that I would say is the best SEO tool to use. I signed up for SEOPressor myself and am loving the features it provides. If you are more advanced in the knowledge of SEO, SEOPressor is where it’s at.

If you need a little more information and don’t have a lot of experience with SEO, Yoast SEO is the better tool.
